Police: At least 2 shot inside Holocaust Museum

WASHINGTON (AP) - Authorities say at least two people have been shot at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington.

D.C. police spokeswoman Traci Hughes says a person walked into the museum with a rifle and shot a guard. Hughes says the shooter was also shot.

Hughes says the victims' conditions were not known. Both were being taken to a hospital.

U.S. Park Police gave slightly different information, saying three people had been shot.

Marijuana stores for Rhode Island!

The people of Rhode Island need to contact Governor Donald Carcieri and demand that he NOT veto this bill like he did a similar bill last year.

680 registered legal patients with the states Dpt of Health medical marijuana program have no way to legally purchase the medicine that the law says they can use. They have to resort to dealing with, often times, criminal dealers and risk safety and jail just to get what they need for some relief.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - A bill that would allow nonprofit stores in Rhode Island to sell marijuana to medical patients is headed to the governor's desk. The state Senate passed the bill Tuesday afternoon by a 30-2 margin.

The bill has already passed the House and now heads to Governor Donald Carcieri for approval. The governor vetoed similar legislation last year.

Fox News: FDA Warns of 'High Levels' of Disease-Causing Bacteria Found in Certain Hand Sanitizers

The Food and Drug Administration warned consumers Monday not to use skin products made by Clarcon because of high levels of disease-causing bacteria found during a recent inspection.

Clarcon Biological Chemistry Laboratory Inc. of Roy, Utah, issued a voluntary recall of some skin sanitizers and skin protectants marketed under several different brand names, the FDA said in a statement.

Consumers should not use any Clarcon products and should throw them away, the FDA said.

Analyses of several samples of over-the-counter topical antimicrobial skin sanitizer and skin protectant products revealed high levels of various bacteria, including some associated with unsanitary conditions, according to the agency. Some of these bacteria can cause opportunistic infections of the skin and underlying tissues and could result in medical or surgical attention as well as permanent damage.

Examples of products that should be discarded include Citrushield Lotion, Dermasentials DermaBarrier, Dermassentials by Clarcon, Antimicrobial Hand Sanitizer, Iron Fist Barrier Hand Treatment, Skin Shield Restaurant, Skin Shield Industrial, Skin Shield Beauty Salon Lotion, Total Skin Care Beauty and Total Skin Care Work.

Facebook Prohibits the Use of Obama Images in Ads

In a stunning move, Facebook just turned down an ad I submitted because it had a photo of President Obama in it! I've run many ads with his photo and as a matter of political free speech it is essential that citizens be able to use the image of their president. Facebook is a private company and of course has the right to turn down whatever ads they want but I thought you all would be interested to see their reasoning in their own words. Here's what they emailed to me when I asked why our ad had not been approved (and I say "our" ad because you guys are helping to pay for it through your contributions):

"Hi Jonathan,

The image used in this ad is prohibited. We do not allow ads with images of Obama and will not allow the creation of any further Facebook Ads using images of him. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy.

Thanks for your understanding"

Sorry, but I DON'T understand. They always allowed images of Obama to be used in the past. Why would they suddenly decide to no longer allow his image? Is it too incendiary!? Does it just infuriate too many people!? I doubt it! It must be something else. Hmm... I wonder what it could be!?

Obama Claims Hieroglyphic Egyptian Image Looks Like Him
